As you learned in the first quiz in this section, when you come to take your 11+ Verbal Reasoning exam, you may be asked to find out which words can’t be made from the letters in larger ones. It’s quite an easy thing to do, as long as you concentrate, do not rush, and are methodical in your approach.
The best way to answer these kinds of question, I find, is to go through each of the options in turn, making sure that the letters in it are also in the longer word, and that no letter is used more times than it appears in the longer word.
You may think you’ve spotted the answer straight away. If that happens, don’t rush to click it as the answer. Please double check and make sure that you are right first. Appearances can often be deceptive!
