What are emotions for children aged 5-7?
Emotions are feelings inside you, like excited, worried, angry, or relaxed. Everyone has emotions, and they can change during the day.
How can I tell if someone is sad?
Someone might be sad if they are quiet, have watery eyes, frown, or do not want to join in. If you are unsure, you can ask gently or tell a trusted adult.
What should I do if a friend looks worried?
You can stay calm, ask “Are you okay?”, and listen. If the worry seems big or they are not safe, tell a teacher or trusted adult straight away.
