Can you imagine being able to speak Spanish like a native? What's Spanish for 'imagine'?

Do you ever find yourself dreaming of things you would like to do but believe you can’t do? Or – have you even put off doing something because you didn’t really want to do it? In other words – have you ever procrastinated? Just about everyone does that every now and then. With this quick picture quiz, however, you are going to be asked to take action and do it. In other words, in this Spanish Medium Review picture quiz you will be getting the chance to do it using Spanish verbs.

Each quiz sentence contains an all capitalized verb of something you can do. Your challenge, if you feel so up to taking it on, is to see just how quickly you can locate the verb’s Spanish translation. Are you ready to DO IT? Then let’s get started now!

This sentence contains a present tense verb. In addition, the pronoun has been provided for you. The Spanish verb for I wish is deseo.

Since you can see the word 'to' before the capitalized verb you know that verb will be in its base form. The Spanish verb for to announce is anunciar.

This sentence contains a past tense verb. Next you need to determine the pronoun that can replace the race. That would be it. The Spanish verb for it began is comenzó.

Since you can see the word 'to' before the capitalized verb you know that verb will be in its base form. The Spanish verb for to divorce is divorciar.

Pay close attending to the context of the capitalized verb. It is not the action verb. The action verb is can as in 'can you'. This then tells you that the capitalized verb should be in its base form. The Spanish verb for to imagine is imaginar.

Notice the word that comes directly before 'miss'. It is the preposition of 'to'. Whenever the preposition of 'to' comes directly before a verb, this tells you that that verb will be in its base, in-active verb form. The Spanish verb for to miss is extrañar.

This sentence contains a present tense verb and the pronoun 'you' has been provided. As you do not know if this is a familiar or formal person or a singular or plural persons, you default to the singular formal, i.e., usted. The Spanish verb for you remember is recuerda.

Pay attention to the context of the capitalized verb. A command is being given here as you are asked to send. When a command is given the base form of the verb is used. The Spanish verb for to send is enviar.

This sentence contains a past tense verb. Next you need to determine the proper pronoun form that can replace Marge and I. Since 'I' is a part of it then you know the pronoun will be we. The Spanish verb for we stayed is quedamos.

The capitalized verb in this sentence is a present tense verb and the pronoun 'we' is given. The Spanish verb for we visit is visitamos.
