Just like adjectives describe nouns, we use adverbs to describe verbs. In this quiz we look at some French adverbs relating to time. For example, in the sentence “the bus is late” the word ‘late’ is an adverb describing the verb ‘is’. Here we will learn or revise some French adverbs such as early, after, before or in the future. It’s a fast and fun way to revise French words for the all-important GCSE exams.
